General Rules And Regulations

Code of Conduct

1. The BMHR and SMHR are family-friendly organizations. No foul language or personal insults are allowed in any BMHR or SMHR-related forum. Violators will be counseled, and if necessary banned from all club events.

2. Members are encouraged to get to know one another. However, it is forbidden to collect member addresses and/or e-mails for spamming purposes.

3. Before airing private grievances in a BMHR or SMHR forum, please contact the Club Manager for arbitration. No flames on our discussion board, please!

4. Members are asked to show courtesy toward each other. Remember, we're all in this together to have fun.

Membership

1. Anyone can be a member of our clubs and showing in the photo shows is not required for membership. There is no annual membership fee unless you are showing your animals in our photo shows (**Note: show fees are being waived for 2010**).

2. There is no age restriction. If you collect Breyer or Stone horses and animals, you're welcome here!

Definitions

Original Finish (OF) models are hereby defined as those which have not been repainted or otherwise customized. Small amounts of paint needed to cover repairs are allowable, as is minor sanding of seams on said repairs and the correction of heat damage (such as warped legs).

Repainted (Rep) refers to all models which have been altered from their original mold by painting or etching only. No other modifications are allowed under this designation other than sanding of seems and removing the manufacturer mark in preparation for repainting.

Custom (CM) refers to all models which have been altered from their original mold in some way in addition to painting.  This includes moving of parts such as the legs, head, tail, etc as well as hairing or flocking of the model.  Models that have had anatomical parts added, ears/nose/hooves carved also fall into this designation.
